Kerb on Tap: Food From The Street To Your Door

Who likes street food? Who likes street food collective, ? Who’s feeling chilly and CBA and wishes they delivered?
If you live within 2.2 km (1.3 miles) of KERB market Camden, you’re one fortunate and lazy foodie. Last week KERB started up a hot and heavy relationship with Deliveroo to bring the best of street food to ‘your living rooms, your offices, your schools, your boats’. Lucky since I live, work and learn on a boat 2.19 km away from KERB Camden. True story*.
The relationship is to be relatively short lived however, so take full advantage for the next two weeks only. Longer than a Tinder romance though, let’s be honest.
Over the next fortnight you can order a veritable banquet to your sofa and what’s more you don’t have to be stall specific. For the first time ever in London, you can choose multiple vendor dishes at once, like the time you were allowed to run riot on Woolworths pic n mix aisle #RIP #neverforget.
In the words of KERB,
‘a box of Mother Clucker strips with some Killa Dilla dillas nuzzling up next to them and a toasty insulated bag of Baba G’s tandoori nuggets resting on top. Perhaps a pair of SE Cakery salted caramel brownies and some Square Root soda to wash it down. Pack ’em up Tetris style in the Deliveroo bag and over it comes – street picnic under your chosen roof.’
Oohf. Sign me up for a Tetris packed taste sensation at once. Get choosing from eight KERB Camden Market’s street food stars and within 30 minutes you can be a cosy and gluttonous beast just like me.

Theatre of Choice: Stick and Twisted by Hivemind
Hivemind are coming to the Hen and Chickens Theatre this Summer with a cracker of an innovative show. Three directors try to win over the audience with improvised stories acted out by the rest of the Hivemind cast on the spur of the moment. As each scene ends you decide whether to “stick” and see where the story goes or “twist” and let the next director take over. The director who ends up with the least scenes acted out has to pay a ‘terrible forfeit’. Told you it was harsh.
Hidden Culinary Gem: The Lacy Nook
We have been wondering whether or not to share this secret gem with you for a while now. Having walked past Cazenove Road on many a drunken occasion, we’d spotted The Lacy Nook A Board luring us inwards with a siren’s call of cocktails and beer garden.
